About Dr. Xiao, MD:
Christopher Xiao, MD grew up in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, he received his undergraduate education at the University of Chicago and proceeded to earn his MD at Boston University. After completing his residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center where he earned several awards and spearheaded patient care improvement initiatives, he joined Santa Cruz Ear Nose and Throat in 2020. Dr. Xiao is passionate about patient-centered, evidence-based medicine. He is committed to providing excellent comprehensive care in all areas of otolaryngology, with a special interest in nasal and sinus surgery, sleep surgery, and otologic disease.
Dr. Xiao is currently accepting new adult and pediatric patients in Santa Cruz and Watsonville locations. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and has authored many scientific papers and presentations. In his free time, he enjoys traveling the world and exploring new foods and restaurants.
