Dr. James F. Holmes has over a decade of experience of helping patients with ear and hearing related concerns. A native of San Jose, California, he earned his undergraduate degree in Creative Arts at San Jose State University, and completed his doctoral degree in Audiology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, New Orleans. He believes in a comprehensive person-centered care approach when helping patients manage their hearing needs. This means carefully determining what abilities the patient has, and providing care that caters to those strengths. His interests in audiology include hearing rehabilitation, hearing diagnostics, musician’s issues, and tinnitus management. In his free time, Dr. Holmes enjoys playing and recording music, learning Spanish, as well as bicycling. He enjoys being an audiologist because it combines his interests in sound with helping others. He maintains active certifications from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the American Academy of Audiology, and is licensed as a dispensing audiologist in the state of California.
